SUCK IT.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:22 |

You can’t fool me! i know what you are driving and when you are filling up! 1985!
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:23 |
|
What is this “87”? I've never heard of it.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:23 |
|
I remember prices like this when I just learned to drive, in 1990.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:24 |
|
Wow. Last I paid was 1.72.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:25 |
|
It’s what plebs use.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:26 |

Even your gas prices are living in the 80s...
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:30 |
|
Well, I mean, it is 2015... Who DOESN’T have a time machine?
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:31 |
|
Many non-over-engineered cars run on it.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:31 |
|
$5 worth of gas and you were cruising the town all night.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:32 |
|
Guns, God, and (cheap) Gas, amirite?
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:32 |
|
And that's still cheap.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:34 |
|
for hookers.... which also were a lot less expensive
lol
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:34 |
|
In my budies tercel, yes, in my Buick Electra that would just get us to town at 12 mpg. But $20 fill ups don’t suck.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:37 |
|
I AM NOT WORTHY
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:37 |
|
It did NOT take $5 worth of gas in the 80’s to find hookers!!
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:37 |
|
$4 for a full tank. B)
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:40 |
|
We would throw $5 of gas in a friend’s Chevy truck and cruise all night. Although, in small town southeast Texas, there wasn't a lot of places to go (that had chicks, because, let's face it, that was the primary reason to cruise).
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:40 |
|
It’s 85 octane here. Liquid dynamite.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:41 |
|
It is quite impressive, ain't it?
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:42 |
|
What was 93 octane? If that was under the $2.60 i paid two nights ago ill be blown away
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:42 |
|
Still took $21 to fill the wife’s Expedition.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:45 |
|
I pay ~75¢ (USD)...
.
.
.
...per litre.
*cries*
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:46 |
|
Still cheap so I’m not really complaining but yeah, jelly.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:57 |
|
Hell, even I’m paying less than that
![]() 11/03/2015 at 20:59 |
|
basically kerosene
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:11 |
|
87 octane as jet fuel confirmed.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:17 |
|
What's the highest you've ever paid?
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:22 |
|
Probably about $1.30/l CAD which would would have been when the dollars were at or close to parity. Worked out to a bit over $5/gal at the time I guess.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:25 |
|
With the discount, $1.40.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:25 |
|
I always used to love buying that stuff at the last place you could get it when going back down to the ocean when driving rental cars. Vroooom! It didn’t know what hit it.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:26 |
|
$2.84/gallon...
*hug*
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:28 |
|
Basically.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:28 |
|
That’s the last year gas was this cheap in the US.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:31 |
|
They also peaked in the mid-90s and dropped near the end. Back in the late 90s I remember one particularly-extraordinary fill up in the middle of nowhere in flyover country at, I believe, 69 cents a gallon. The lowest I’ve ever seen... Very close to some I remember from the 80s when I was a small child.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:34 |
|
....im moving
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:35 |
|
I wish my prices were that low... Heading into the winter months, too, where my gas mileage apparently goes directly to crap.
Still, $2.49 for regular and $2.79 or so for premium isn’t too bad. Better than the over $3 prices in the summer.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:37 |
|
Paid $0.749/gal Saturday night with the local grocery store discounts at Shell. Filled the tank for $9.81.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:38 |
|
What state do you live in now?
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:38 |
|
JERSEYYYYYY
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:38 |
|
Being that I no longer need emissions, I now run only the best aviation gasoline in my car, 130 octane C3...*sips expensive champaigne with pinky extended*
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:38 |
|
Thanks, OPEC (Saudi Arabia)!
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:40 |

Come on down. We have less graffiti than Newark. Unless, you know, you actually enjoy shoveling snow...
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:41 |
|
what? I can’t hear you over my snow blower running
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:44 |
|
Oh, also, if you like the idea of swimming at Thanksgiving, wearing shorts during Christmas, low cost of living, and low unemployment, Houston might be for you.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:46 |
|
Yup. I was happy to pay just over $2/gal when I was in New York a couple of weeks ago.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:48 |
|
Yeah, ours is cheap as hell right now, but the refineries are only about 100 miles away.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:49 |
|
With the oil Canada has it’s pretty ridiculous that little to none of it is actually refined here.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:53 |
|
My region anxiously awaits the Keystone XL pipeline’s approval and all that Canadian Crude.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 21:59 |
|
Yeah, we’ll see if that ever happens. There’s a silly amount of opposition and while it would be a good trade deal, IMO Canada would do well to process more here.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 22:02 |
|
....ill start packing
![]() 11/03/2015 at 22:33 |
|
Always a great reason to cruise.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 22:37 |
|
You mean under-engineered cars.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 23:49 |
|
Kroger. Please, please, please, it’s just Kroger.
![]() 11/03/2015 at 23:54 |

I have heard of guys actually “picking up chicks” while cruising in their shit buckets but have never actually experienced it. Now I’m old and married with children so I don’t get to cruise, because it would be more like creeping.
![]() 11/04/2015 at 07:38 |
|
What are you talking about?
![]() 11/04/2015 at 07:41 |
|
I am also old, married, and have children. It’s not that you’re driving around talking to girls out the window, but you cruise, find out where more people will be, and go there (to find girls).
Today, this is called social media.
![]() 11/12/2015 at 11:55 |
|
How the hell is this even possible? If I pay 99 cents per
litre
I'm getting a good deal.
![]() 11/12/2015 at 11:59 |
|
Oh, you didn’t know that we Texans apply a surcharge to non-Texans for fuel that was refined here in the Lone Star State?
;)
![]() 11/12/2015 at 12:20 |
|
You guys have everything: oil, cheap gas, guns, COTA, races from WEC, MotoGP and F1, world-class barbeque, tex-mex, Hank Hill, and warm weather. We get a F1 race in Montreal, no real barbeque, fewer guns, gas which is essentially equivalent to $4+/gallon and our oil is mixed with all sorts of sand and shit. Maybe I need to move to Texas.
![]() 11/12/2015 at 12:31 |

We’re hiring!
The majority of people that move to Texas love it here. My in-laws moved from Chicago 25 years ago and wouldn’t dream of going back.
The minority that dislike Texas are nicely encouraged to move back to whatever hell hole they crawled out of.
